The Role
You'll build the ML systems that turn complex geospatial data into actionable predictions for mineral exploration — from ingestion and feature engineering through deployment, monitoring, and reliability. You'll work on high-dimensional spatial datasets, productionize models, and bring modern AI (Vision Transformers, GNNs, Hugging Face, Earth Engine) into our pipelines.
This is a senior IC role on a small, high-trust team. We're looking for someone who operates independently, communicates consistently, and is genuinely curious about the mining domain. Remote-first within Canada, with consistent availability during business hours.
What You'll Do
- Design and deploy ML models for geospatial applications, including Vision Transformers and GNNs on high-dimensional raster and spatial datasets.
- Build scalable, automated data pipelines — preprocessing, feature engineering, sampling, and spatial cross-validation.
- Own end-to-end ML workflows: scheduling, monitoring, alerting, retraining, and reliability.
- Develop custom geospatial models and features that capture real-world spatial patterns.
- Apply model interpretability techniques to understand spatial patterns and feature influence.
- Use Google Earth Engine, Hugging Face, and similar tools to scale geospatial AI in production.
Must-Haves
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years in ML, data science, or software development, including production ML systems.
- Strong Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, scikit-learn).
- Deep understanding of ML architectures (transformers, vision transformers, clustering, ensembles).
- Experience applying deep learning (Vision Transformers, GNNs) to geospatial problems.
- Hands-on experience working with satellite imagery, raster data, and vector geospatial data — including coordinate reference systems, raster processing, and vector geometry operations. Core library experience required (GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL). Sensor or telemetry data that includes coordinates does not qualify.
- Built and maintained production ML pipelines that run on a regular automated cadence — orchestration (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect), monitoring, alerting, retraining. Notebooks and one-off analyses don't qualify.
- Mandatory: Demonstrated industry or academic research experience in mineral exploration, mining, geology, or earth sciences. This is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Track record of operating independently as a senior IC — proactive, self-directed, accountable.
What We Offer
- Health Benefits: Extensive coverage, medical, dental, and vision plans.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Including vacation days, sick days, personal days, public holidays plus extra time during holiday season.
- Work-Life Balance: Flexible work hours, remote work options plus option to use work space in Downtown Vancouver (free snacks & gym).
- Professional Development: Career growth program to help our team unlock their potential and advance their career.
- Performance Bonuses
- Wellness Programs: Fitness allowance, work from home allowance, mental health support.
- Retirement Plan (RRSP/DPSP)
Terms
- Full-time, permanent, remote within Canada
- Compensation: $175,000–$185,000 CAD base salary.
- Background check required.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

As we continue to refine our AI-driven solutions, VRIFY remains dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in the mining sector, ensuring our clients and investors are well-equipped to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.
The Role
We are hiring a Marketing Operations Manager on a 12-month contract to cover a parental leave on our Marketing team. This role has deliberate overlap between standard account-based marketing (ABM) and marketing operations responsibilities: you will own our target account strategy and run the 1:1 and outbound campaigns that generate new opportunities and expand existing client contracts, while also owning our marketing email function and working in Salesforce every day for lead engagement, tracking, and reporting.
You will step into established programs and keep them moving, so we are looking for someone who ramps quickly, works independently, and partners closely with Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute our ABM strategy, running 1:1 and 1:few campaigns against a target account list built in collaboration with Sales.
- Prospect and identify new high-value accounts; research target accounts to map decision-makers, influencers, and buying committees.
- Plan, launch, and optimize outbound marketing campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate engagement within target accounts.
- Own VRIFY's marketing email function: build, segment, QA, schedule, and send campaigns to both clients and prospects, including expansion-focused sends to existing clients and ABM sends to net-new accounts.
- Develop personalized messaging and content tailored to specific accounts, industries, and personas.
- Strategize plays and tactics with Sales to generate, progress, and close new leads and opportunities, and to drive contract expansions with existing clients.
- Use Salesforce daily for lead engagement, tracking, and follow-up, keeping records accurate and actionable for Sales.
- Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards covering lead flow, campaign performance, funnel conversion, and marketing-sourced pipeline.
- Manage lead lifecycle processes: capture, scoring, segmentation, routing, and clean handoff of qualified leads to Sales.
- Manage company and account enrichment, keeping firmographic and contact data complete and current, and maintain database health across Salesforce and connected tools: deduplication, list hygiene, and consistent campaign tracking.
- Run ongoing analysis of competitors, total addressable market (TAM), and campaign effectiveness; turn findings into recommendations for the team.
- Measure and report on ABM performance: account engagement, pipeline generated and influenced, opportunity velocity, and ROI.
- Manage the ABM and enrichment tools in our stack, and evaluate new tools and data sources where they improve results.
- Document processes and reporting so programs run smoothly through the contract term and hand back cleanly.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of B2B marketing experience, including hands-on ownership of account-based marketing or targeted outbound programs.
- Working proficiency in Salesforce: building reports and dashboards, managing campaigns and lists, and tracking leads and opportunities. Salesforce administration experience or certification is a big plus.
- Experience running email marketing at scale with a marketing automation platform (e.g., Account Engagement/Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo), including segmentation, QA, and deliverability best practices.
- Familiarity with prospecting, enrichment, and intent tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense) is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable measuring campaign effectiveness, sizing TAM, and analyzing competitors, then adjusting tactics based on the data.
- Sharp copywriting for outbound and client email: clear, concise, and personalized.
- Proven track record of close collaboration with Sales teams on shared pipeline goals.
- Self-directed and organized: able to ramp quickly into existing programs, manage multiple campaigns at once, and deliver with limited oversight.
- Experience marketing to technical or niche industries (mining, geoscience, or B2B SaaS with long sales cycles) is a plus.
What We Offer
- Base Compensation Range: 125,000 - 140,000
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Including vacation days, sick days, personal days, public holidays plus extra time during holiday season.
- Work-Life Balance: Flexible work hours, remote work options plus option to use work space in Downtown Vancouver (free snacks & gym).
- Wellness Programs: Fitness allowance, work from home allowance, mental health support.
Terms of Employment
- Full-time, 12-month contract (parental leave coverage), with potential for extension.
- Location: Remote – Canada.
- Professional references and completion of a background check will be required for this position.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
